Works well, but requires two hands.

Sticks on the vent firmly, holds my phone well. I wish it went on the vent a little more easily and it requires two hands to put my phone in place, but it holds well and works.

Worked on my 2 phones without problem!

This is an excellent alternative to the cellphone holders that are windshield-mounted or dashboard-mounted. I don’t like using the cellphone holders that are windshield-mounted because it’s such a hassle using the suction cups. They eventually start getting deformed, especially after exposure to extreme heat in Texas, and the suction cups give up. Then you have to buy a suction cup again, or a new unit altogether. I also don’t like the ones that are dashboard-mounted because you have to use an adhesive to keep the holder in place. I don’t like the adhesives because once you need to pull them off or replace them, they leave an ugly sticky residue behind on your car’s dashboard.

Awesome GULAKI Car Air Vent Cellphone Holder! This fits the larger phones plus the smaller phones. There are two things that make this product great. One is a common complaint on these type of holders is that it does not fit securely on the vent. With the GULAKI Air Vent Phone Mount, it has a portion that you turn to tighten to fit your vent. It can be tightened until it almost looks like the two parts meet together – excellent. The second thing I like that it swivels. This allows you to put it on the passenger side vent and turn it towards you when you are driving. No matter which brand I try no matter how secure they feel on my vent, I always have it on the passenger side vent. This way if by chance it does fall off, it won’t fall by the pedals.Love it,will purchase again with GULAKI.

The Cell Phone Holder Vent Mount Cradle holds my Moto G effectively. What’s unique about this is that it doesn’t need a suction base or a sticky pad because it clips onto my car vent (my car is a Dodge Avenger). The rubber clip-on included effectively clips onto my car vent and doesn’t budge not until I pull it out. My Moto G fits here and my sister’s iPhone 5c fits this phone vent mount too. With my Moto G, I have a rubber casing so think that helps with the grip of the phone mount. My sister’s iPhone 5c has a metal casing and when it’s in a vertical positon (the phone mount is in a horizontal position), her phone slips slowly. The solution is to rotate the phone mount so that her phone is in a horizontal position. Good thing this mount has a 360 degrees rotation so that her phone is more stable.

Does OK for a lighter phone in a car. Running a work truck the bounces and jounces let the phone fall on occasion. The pivot is a bit stiff and you need to remove it from the vent before rotating or risk breaking the vent louver.

5 stars for practicality and value. I did not want awkward suction cup/ flexible arm holder. This fits snugly on vent of my 2000 Sable (another model from different seller did not). Simple design has spring slide to hold phone. Moto X in slim silicone sleeve fit perfectly – I shift it to left so power/ volume controls are accessible. My phone has a slightly rounded back, not a problem but deeper curve could be. I can utilize voice commands and easily reach touch screen. Placement will obviously vary by car model.
